The languages & tools I am the most comfortable with and what I enjoy using.

Here I'm listing most of the tools and languages that I work or worked with. And I immediately thought it could be fun to leave a small comment about them.

Back-end development

  • Laravel

~5 Years experience with Laravel. To this day my favorite framework to work with, documentation of this framework is a one of a kind.

  • PHP

~6 Years experience with PHP. The scripting language that introduced me to the world of programming.

  • Express.js

~1 Year experience with Express.js. Really cool framework for node.js, I got introduced to it not so long ago and I really liked working with. I still have an application that I have to finish with express.js (Safouane.gg)

  • .net C#

~3 Years experience with .NET C#. When I heard you could create a game in the console I was immediately sold.

  • Javascript

~5 Years experience with Javascript. No comment solid language, all be it that I also kinda prefer it over Typescript (sometimes ;) )

  • MySQL

~5 Years experience with MySQL. I am really glad that I started my journey with php back in the day, because learning MySQL was for me quite difficult at the start but now I am breezing through those queries like never before

Front-end development

  • HTML/CSS

~6 Years experience. Cant really build a website without these two now can you.

  • TailwindCSS

~2 Years experience with TailwindCSS. I was one of those developer that used bootstrap a lot.. And then I got introduced to Tailwind by my friend, and now it is always in my projects when I start one.

  • React

~3 Years experience with React. Nothing to say I like the framework, all be it sometimes a bit cluttered.

  • SvelteKit

~6 Months experience with SvelteKit. Now this is I think becoming one of my favorite web development tools. This removes all the clutter from when you use angular,next.js and react. And you can just straight up dive into the fun part (the coding). Fun note: The website of our company, has also been build with SvelteKit that is how much I like it right now.

Design

  • Whymsical

~1 Year experience with Whymsical. Solid tool for wireframes and mi-fi designs.

  • Figma

~1 Year experience with Figma. Figma is one of those tools that I simply cannot live without anymore, it is one of the best design tools on the market.

  • AdobeXD

~3 Years experience with AdobeXD. I have always mainly used AdobeXD but I have recently moved more to Figma because of the more features it gives me.

  • MySQLWorkbench

~5 Years experience with MySQLWorkbench. Great tool for when I need to make ERDs, and inspect the data structure and logic of my application(s).

Development tools

  • PhpStorm

My favorite editor, especially with the newest update. It looks really clean now..

  • Visual studio

Editor that I use when I am building C# applications.

  • Sequel ace

Great tool for managing your database, I think its only available for the Macbook so tough luck Windows users.

  • Github

Cant really live without having my activity blocks all green now can I.
